Windows: test tool shows error 12029

This error means that the application cannot connect to the our servers.  This can be caused by:
  • Blocking of access to Loopcloud on your network by a hardware firewall, web proxy or government web filtering.
  • Blocking of access to Loopcloud by Windows or third-party security software. 
If you are running a third-party firewall you should refer out to the vendor's instructions.

Windows Defender security settings should look like this, with 'Outbound connections that do not match a rule are allowed' enabled.
